Editor’s Note: Editor’s Note: If it feels too tight, just give them a stretch. Most beanies out there will get blown out and mis-shaped after one season of use. That is not good design nor is it sustainable. This is primarily because most beanies have little to no elastane content in their yarn, combined with low quality cotton or something else synthetic. They might look crisp off-the-shelf, but the lack of quality significantly decreases the overall life of the product. Fundamentally, this should be the other way around. Our mission for this project was to use a unique, premium quality elastic yarn in combination with the best organic cotton that will retain its shape, season after season.
