Editor’s Note: If it feels too tight, just give them a stretch. Most beanies out there will get blown out and mis-shaped after one season of use. That is not good design nor is it sustainable. This is primarily because most beanies have little to no elastane content in their yarn, combined with low quality cotton or something else synthetic. They might look crisp off-the-shelf, but the lack of quality significantly decreases the overall life of the product. Fundamentally, this should be the other way around. At Druthers, we source the best possible yarns and highest quality elastane for long lasting retention. The Merino wool is knit-to-shape in Japan creating the classic silhouette of the dockworker's beanie.
